Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern use of Zapata County Busted Mugshots, a private records-reference service. By accessing the service, you agree to these Terms and to use information lawfully, carefully, and only for permitted purposes.

Private Reference Service

This is not a government website and is not affiliated with the Zapata County Sheriff’s Office, any court, jail, corrections department, or public agency. It provides source links and general records-access information. Official agencies, not this service, control their records and current status information.

Permitted Use

You may use the service for lawful personal reference, public-record navigation, and direct verification with the relevant government source. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reproduce content at scale, impersonate another person, harass anyone, or use information in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

FCRA Restricted Uses

This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its information may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, housing, tenant screening, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. You are responsible for ensuring that any use complies with applicable law.

External Sources

Links can lead to government offices, courts, record systems, search providers, news outlets, and other services. Those sites have their own rules, policies, availability, and data practices. A link is not an endorsement, verification, or promise about an outside service, and we do not control any external content.

Information and Disclaimers

Content is offered as is and as available, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access. Record status, contacts, policies, and links may change. Verify information with the office that created the record. An arrest or booking event is an accusation and does not establish guilt.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this service or an external link. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.

Content Ownership

The site’s original text, design, and other protected material belong to the site or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government records and third-party material remain subject to the rights, restrictions, and policies of their owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to a visitor.

Changes and Access

We may update these Terms, change the service, or suspend or revoke access at any time. Continued use after a posted revision means acceptance of the revised Terms. A change in a linked government source does not create an obligation to preserve an earlier version of this service.

Texas Law and Severability

Texas law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. No failure to enforce a provision is a waiver of that provision.
